The North Carolina Tennis Hall of Fame built an exhibit space in their Greensboro location and wanted an interactive video player and information kiosk to be the centerpiece of the exhibit. Horizon shot HD interviews with all the living members as NCTHF gathered data about each. I built the interface to showcase these amazing people, their information, and stories from their past. I wanted the screen to cycle through photos unless a user interacted with the kiosk, at which time the menu would appear. The user could search for a member by year or name and view an HD interview with the person. I used Flash, XML, and H.264 encoded HD quicktime movies to build the kiosk. The art direction was provided by a partner vendor who was also responsible for the design of the physical space. |
