The Ancient Way is a documentary that examines the changing culture of the ancient region of Galicia in the northwest corner of Spain. Forty students from three universities gathered there for a month-long project summer school class.

Within the region is Santiago de Campostela, the site of the climax of the annual religious pilgrimage across northern Spain and site of the largest Galicia day celebrations. I designed the site to reference the architecture of the region and the simple handmade textures created by its people.
